Western Australia
Dr Tom Gourlay is a Senior Lecturer in Theology and Religious Education at the Catholic Institute of Western Australia. His doctoral work was completed in 2023 at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and explored the implications of a theologically informed metaphysics of gift or relational ontology on the activities of teaching and research at Catholic universities. He is the president and co-founder of the Dawson Society for Philosophy and Culture (Inc.) and an Associated Scholar for the Hildebrand Project. His research interests include fundamental theology, the relationship between faith and culture, and Catholic education.

Catholic Institute of Sydney (NSW)
Dr Peter McGregor has over 35 years of experience in evangelisation, catechesis and religious education. He is a member of the Emmanuel Community (Communauté de l’Emmanuel), a community of lay people, priests and consecrated people within the Catholic Church. As a community member, he has been involved in various evangelistic outreaches: prayer meetings, parish missions, mercy nights, Zacchaeus (a course on Catholic social teaching), Love and Truth (a marriage enrichment program), retreats for priests, ministry to couples without children, youth outreaches, an international youth forum, World Youth Day 2008, street evangelisation, and parish visitations. Peter was a lecturer at the Emmanuel School of Mission in Manila. He currently serves as a spiritual and theological formation provider to community members and, with his wife, is responsible for ‘companioning’ in the Emmanuel provinces of Sydney and Melbourne.
